We both studied at the Montpellier School of Agriculture, during which time we became passionate about the South of France and its wineries.
After different professional experiences in wineries throughout France, we soon came round to the idea of setting up our own vineyard. It took 2 years of research to find the right balance of soils, vines, and the perfect location. In 2004 we moved in to our 12-hectare vineyard in the St Chinian AOC area, which consisted of an old sheep pen and was surrounded by scrubland: we fell in love with this little piece of paradise.
It was the start of our adventure, with a little boy of 18 months, called Pascal, and the birth of Rémi who arrived just as we moved into the vineyard (the final stages of the purchase taking place with maternity leave!)
The very first harvest took place in September 2004! The first grapes were housed in the garage next to the house. In 2005, we started to build the wine cellar. The grapes were turned into wine at our winery, open to the scrubland elements.
Two other boys (Sylvain born in 2006 and Simon in 2008) made our team complete.
The vineyard has grown from strength to strength since then, with a storage cellar being built in 2008, then an area for wine tasting where we would be happy to welcome you!
Today, we own 16 hectares of vines, over a variety of different soils.
The winery is also host to a variety of animals: dogs, cats, and horses. The horses being very helpful when it comes to trimming the grass between the vines!
