The vintages

Each wine has its own individuality. Above all else our respect for the land is what we want to express in each of our wines. We strive to preserve the presence of the purest fruit in our wines, and the maturing process, in vats or 300 litre barrels, is all part of this idea of continuity. Each of our 3 red vintages, bearing the St Chinian AOC label, have a great personality.

Fleur de Cynanque, rosé

A blend of grapes from different plots, this patchwork rosé is very tasty.
With a crisp, fresh kick, it combines notes of red berries and citrus fruits.
Cinsault, Grenache

Fleur de Cynanque, red

Primarily a product of the ancient Carignan vines planted in 1911, this wine, the king of the Languedoc Roussillon grape variety, offers bounding potential.
It’s a fruity refreshing wine, round and full on the palate, which boasts the flavours of cherry and redcurrant, and slightly toasty notes.

Plein Grès

The very essence of our red sandstone soil, the complete purity of this complex wine is kept because of its being matured in a cask.

It is a blend of four grape appellation varieties. A wine to store, it brings together strength and elegance. On the nose, cacao, cherry, and blackberries. Full and powerful in taste with notes of ripe fruit and liquorice.

A little mosaic vintage, very expressive, with a base of an abundance of minerals.

A unique white, full of refreshing flavour.

Althea, white

Pale gold in colour, this wine tastes of aniseed, pink grapefruit and has floral notes which create a powerful long-lasting flavour.

Its mineral end taste bestows its elegance.

This wine is the result of a rigorous selection of the most concentrated grapes at our vineyard, made possible by the kindness of our harvesters who agree to harvest one plot sometimes up to four times! Elegant and concentrated, with an air of finesse, this wine turns to wood to express all its flavours.

Deep and velvety on the tongue, comprising complex flavours such as cherry, mocha, and blackberries.

An encounter between Philippe Griot’s passion for the earth and wine and a plot consisting of old grenache vines, surrounded by scrubland, and full of promise……..

A symbol of friendship, this vintage gives off a roasted cacao aroma, with red fruit and prune flavours. Full-bodied with light tannins and an end note of raspberries.

All our agriculture at the vineyard is organic in nature.
A roasted cacao aroma, followed by red fruit flavours (redcurrants and cranberries), and some spices.

Powerful on the nose, with ripe fruit and cacao. Full and velvety on the mouth, with notes of zan and roasted elements.

A passionately Mediterranean wine to store…

An old Mourvèdre vine just beneath our windowsills……

An amphora…..  From red sandstone…..

An elegant wine with very fine tannins.

With unique flavours of fig, candied orange peel and notes of acacia honey.

Powerful on the palate yet balanced thanks to its aromatic freshness. The result is a very delicate wine.

A sample of sparkling wine with this Pet’Nat (natural sparkling wine). What makes this bottle so enticing is its small level of alcohol, a natural expression of the grape and an ultra-thirst-quencher.
